Here’s how to wear one article of clothing for both male & female:
Flannel
The “around the waist” style is most popular in today’s fashion for flannels.
- It’s a casual look that is very easy to put together and can be worn with anything, just like how it is shown in the picture above. I wore the flannel with a tank top, high-waisted jean shorts, and sneakers.
For men, flannels can be worn as a way to dress up with nice kakis and boat shoes (left picture) as well as a casual, dressed down look such as a plain black t-shirt, black jeans, and sneakers(right picture).
Button-Down Shirts
Most think this is an article of clothing just for men, but women can look flawless wearing one as well!
My friend Taylor actually bought this is the men’s section at Forever 21. She is wearing it over a long gray tight-fitted dress, high socks, and peep toe heels.
Men usually wear button-down shirts for a more dressed up look. Normally worn with nice dress pants or jeans.
Leather Jackets
Women usually wear leather jackets to dress up their “sweater weather” outfit. A normal outfit would include: a light sweater, jeans, boots, and of course the leather jacket.
Men normally sport a leather jacket to have that “edgy” look.
